Katie is passionate about supporting AIM’s work in building relational power to create policy change for justice. She makes connections with AIM’s leaders and implements an organized and inclusive communications strategy to grow AIM’s collective power.
Prior to joining AIM, Katie was a leader at AIM’s sister organization VOICE (Virginians Organized for Interfaith Community Engagement) in Arlington, where she organized members of her church and community to support the successful Missing Middle Housing campaign to end exclusionary single-family zoning.
Katie also has experience in communications and change management from her previous role as a Business Analyst at CGI Federal. She has a B.A. in Sociology from William & Mary and holds certifications in project management and change management. Katie lives in Arlington, Virginia and enjoys singing in her church choir.
