ASSOCIATE ORGANIZER
she / her / hers

Elizabeth, originally from Bogotá, Colombia, has called the United States home for the past four years. With a passion for the arts, culture, and forging connections with diverse communities, Elizabeth thrives on understanding and celebrating cultural differences as avenues for unity.

Elizabeth has over a decade of experience in various community-focused roles including political communication, union work, art therapy, teaching, grassroots leadership, and most recently, project management in a nonprofit dedicated to graffiti art and public space democratization.

At AIM, she concentrates on supporting the Northwest Park and New Hampshire Estates communities, aiding their efforts to organize tenant associations and parent groups in schools, while also identifying and nurturing young leaders who have inherited the importance of community engagement and collective action from their elders.

In her free time, Elizabeth likes going to dog parks with her goldendoodle puppy Oliver and going to the movies.
